| Looking for a place far from the maddening crowd, the infuriating city traffic, the houses of neighbors you can reach out and touch? That place is The Getaway House. It sits at the end of a private road on 5 acres in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Its a dream getaway house if you like the country- if you appreciate nature. Our dog loves it, too. Fully fenced with a stately entry gate, the yard has become her stage.
So why are my wife and I selling this grand, ten-year old house? We are moving back to Phoenix, Arizona to be closer to family. It wont be easy selling this house because we have come to love it. We moved here a few years ago because we wanted some elbow room. Boy, did we ever find it! Our closest neighbors (aside from a few distant houses down the road) are deer and cardinals by the dozen.
